On the bench

A print has a number and a limit. There are 256 of them, the price is 0.02 BOT for every one, and the token carries its own metadata as on-chain JSON and SVG. Nothing sits on IPFS waiting to disappear.

  1. Mint is a purchase. Your 0.02 BOT sits in the contract until you return the print or the 24-hour window ends and the press collects the set proceeds.
  2. A return needs three things at once: you minted the print, you still own it, and 24 hours have not passed. Miss any one and there is no refund.
  3. You can transfer during the wet window, but the new holder cannot return it for a refund — only the original minter can.
  4. The caption is fixed at mint. No edits after, by anyone.
  5. The edition stops at 256 prints. When they are gone, the press is closed.
  6. The deployer cannot confiscate a live print. Refunds move only through Return print, and only to the minter.

Who pulls from this press

Collectors who want a small, numbered thing with a fixed price and a clean provenance trail — one print, one number, one caption, readable on-chain. People who like editions with a hard ceiling of 256 rather than an open faucet.

It also suits anyone who wants to try a mint on BOT Chain without a long commitment: 0.02 BOT, a day to change your mind, and a burn that returns the money. And it suits the person who just wants to send a short line to a friend as a numbered object.

FAQ

What exactly does 0.02 BOT buy?

One ERC-721 print from the Press Bench edition, named with the next number and carrying the caption you set at mint. The price is fixed for all 256 prints.

How does the return work?

Return print burns your token and sends the full 0.02 BOT back. It only works if you are the original minter, you still hold the print, and fewer than 24 hours have passed. There is no other refund path.

What happens after 24 hours?

The ink is dry. The print is set, no refund is possible, and the press can collect the proceeds. You can still transfer the print.

Can I change the caption later?

No. The note is written at mint and cannot be edited. 1–64 ASCII characters; quotes, backslashes, and angle brackets are not allowed.

Where does the metadata live?

In the contract. tokenURI returns on-chain JSON and SVG on BOT Chain mainnet, chain id 677. No IPFS.

Can the press take my print?

No. The deployer cannot confiscate a live print. A refund only happens when you call Return print inside the window.

Roadmap

Now

The edition, the 0.02 BOT price, the 24-hour return, and the 256-print ceiling are fixed in the contract.

Next

Keep the wall readable, with every print’s number, caption, and mint time visible from the contract.

Later

A plain index of the full edition: which numbers are set, which were returned, which are still wet.

Beyond

No second edition is promised. If the press runs again it will be a separate contract with its own terms stated before mint.

Take a number

The press holds 256 prints and one fixed price. Pull one, live with it for a day, and return it for the full 0.02 BOT if the ink is still wet.
